WELCOME TO MATSURFERS.COM

This site was created as an online focal point for surfmat riders. After several years as UK Mat Surfers the site was updated the name to MatSurfers.com to reflect our global community.

For those who are new to these amazing craft, there is a section all about mats which will hopefully give some insight into surfmats, why we ride them, as well as some technical tips on riding and mat maintenance.

The site has become more of a resource than an active community since 2026. Therefore updates will be limited.

INTERVIEWS

We are immensely proud to host the Here & Now interviews. California's Ken McKnight interviewed notable mat surfers and others around the globe who have contributed to mat surfing.

Latterly, North Carolina’s Jamie McClellan has added to the collection with a fresh look at the characters in the surfmat scene.
