A Nod to a Pivotal Piece in the Development of the Modern Surfmat
Dale Solomonson is a name which goes unknown for many of the newer converts to mat surfing but along with the other great pioneers, Paul Gross (4th Gear Flyer) and George Greenough, Dale was instrumental in bringing what we know today as the high performance surfmat to the World. We used the Way Back Machine to revisit his now defunct website and came across this impression of the site showing a date of Nov 12, 2003. You can really see the influence of the Neumatic Advanced model pictured on many of today's 4 pontoon designs.
